To save the pictures posted by other users, one only needed to tap at the \u2018bookmark\u2019 sign present at every Instagram post.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not that I particularly like that feature; the only time a saved a picture was by accident. However, it was particularly useful for businesses and some users and as much as <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fool.com\/investing\/2016\/12\/15\/instagram-now-has-nearly-twice-as-many-users-as-tw.aspx\">46% of the Instagram users<\/a><\/strong> tried the bookmarking feature since its launch back in December.<\/p>\n<p>This time, however, Instagram has equipped its users with a new feature and wants it users to share a much more enriching experience and provide a better, bigger and expansive picture of their experiences to their <strong>online friends and followers.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>What\u2019s It All About?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>With the new Instagram update, users have the improved ability to share as much as 10 photographs in a single carousel post. These are simple Instagram albums revolving around a permanent theme, which the friends can swipe through.<\/p>\n<p>Now, you don\u2019t get to see only the highlights. This feature, along with the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/instagram.com\/fscindia\">Instagram Stories<\/a><\/strong>, was meant to further Instagram\u2019s quest for showing more than a highlight.<\/p>\n<p>Building back on the bookmark feature, Instagram lately announced another update which not only allows its 600 million monthly users to save pictures for future references, but also organize them into collections.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m sure the feature sounds to you like the online bulletin board that <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pinterest.com\/fscindia\/\">Pinterest<\/a><\/strong> is. Yup, it is.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>So, How Do You Do It?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Hold the \u2018Bookmark\u2019 icon<\/li>\n<li>Tap the \u2018+\u2019 icon and name your collection<\/li>\n<li>Tap on \u2018Done\u2019 and you\u2019re done.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>And How Do You Add Photographs?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Get to your profile and tap the \u2018Bookmark\u2019 button<\/li>\n<li>Tap on \u2018Collection\u2019 at the screen and choose the collection you\u2019d like to add to, of course by tapping it.<\/li>\n<li>Now, tap on the \u2018Menu\u2019 icon at the top right corner and choose &#8220;Add to Collection&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>Select the photos you\u2019ve saved already<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><strong>It\u2019s as simple as that.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Moreover, you have the power to organize the stuff you\u2019ve already saved into your collections. You can delete a picture or an entire collection and rename it altogether.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not a public facing part of your profile, and no matter what your <strong>privacy settings<\/strong>, there\u2019s no way others can peep into your collections.
